Homer, You Can Shrink Those Fat Cells!


"Sweet thing, you make my heart sing!" ...DOH, Let's get FAT!!!" Homer has got that down! In this scene he is downing a donut loaded with high fructose corn syrup aka HFCS. That's right. HFCS, is that sweetener commonly used in packaged and baked goods turns immediately to fat! It's been sweetly, but not innocently, finding it's way into all your baked goods, spaghetti sauces, crackers, breads, yogurt, school lunches, sweetened drinks, soft drinks, bottled teas, coffee and even cough syrup.


You might want to check labels before buying or eating high fructose corn syrup. High fructose corn syrup also contains mercury and cobalt, dangerous heavy metals. If you're using any of the popular synthetic 0 calorie sugar, you're also storing fat more rapidly.


Just because the products you have known and loved over the years are full of chemicals, sugars that make you fat, oils that clog your arteries and plug up your intestines and kill your brain cells, doesn't mean you can't enjoy food!

OMGoodness! There are millions of recipes that will please your pickiest guests using pure, clean, REAL ingredients and healthy, naturally occurring sugars from unprocessed sources found in nature that actually keep you slim, happy AND healthy! A few of my favorite sweeteners will satisfy your sweet tooth and even make it healthier!

Let's just start with one. Replacing HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) with coconut sugar. That's right, coconut sugar! It's like a gourmet brown sugar and can replace any sugar with ease and great taste! It's my favorite. Loaded with amino acids which help build muscle and has all the naturally occurring minerals in it that will help you metabolize it without storing fat. WOW.

There is also a syrup made from the coconut palm that I found in a brand called, Coconut Secret. It can be used in recipes that you would usually calls for corn syrup. It will be burned as energy so your body will not store it as fat. Move over corn syrup. We don't need you any more.
